The A40 in Oxford will be closed for three nights from tomorrow night for demolition work to start on the Wolvercote viaduct.

The road between Wolvercote roundabout and Cassington will shut between 10pm and 6.30am on Saturday and again between 10pm and 7am on Sunday and 10pm and 5.30am on Monday.

A diversion route will be in place and clearly signed.

Cycle and footpaths will also be closed.

A shuttle bus will transport cyclists and pedestrians through the diversion.
