YOU report that 10-year-old Harry Snowdon is to receive £7.1m for being left brain-damaged at birth as a result of medical negligence at the John Radcliffe.
It makes a welcome change to see an appropriate amount of “compensation” being awarded to a worthy recipient.
You further state that the ORH Trust declined to say whether the medical staff involved would face disciplinary action.
I should have thought anyone responsible for a blunder of this magnitude should be facing a great deal more than that.
