Police today appealed for witnesses after a serious collision on the Oxford to Banbury road near Tackley yesterday afternoon.

At about 4.20pm, a silver Ford Ka and a silver Renault Clio were involved in a head-on collision on the A4260 near Tackley.

Three people from the Ka, a man and a woman in their thirties and a 15-month-old boy, were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

The child is in a critical, but stable condition. The woman is in a serious condition and the man has injuries to his hand.
