A 32-year-old woman involved in a collision near Tackley died this evening at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

The woman, from Southdale Road, Oxford, was involved in the collision on the A4260 at Sturdy's Castle, north of Kidlington.

At about 4.20pm on Sunday, the silver Ford Ka in which the woman was travelling and a silver Renault Clio were involved in a head-on collision.

The 15-month-old boy involved in the incident remains in a critical but stable condition at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
