Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire last night.

At about 7.30pm, firefighters were called to a car and a garage blaze in Cotswold Close, Sibford Ferris, near Banbury.

Crews from Hook Norton and Chipping Norton tackled the flames and two people in the adjoining house were treated by paramedics.

The fire was thought to have been started accidentally, a fire service spokesman said.
