SEASONAL goodwill was served up on an Oxford estate with a Christmas dinner for members of the community.
The meal was laid on at Blackbird Leys Community Centre on Friday to help young people with nowhere to go to enjoy the celebrations with other people.
Turkey and presents were shared in the Glow Hall under the guidance of organiser Marsha Jackson.
The charity event, which was the first of its kind on the estate, had secured donations from local people as well as mince pies from Waitrose, £10 from Marks & Spencer, £10 from Sainsbury’s and £500 from housing association OCHA.
It is hoped the event could become an annual fixture.
