A MAN was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after an attack outside a pub in Sheep Street, Bicester.
At about 10pm on Sunday a 22-year-old man was leaving the Hobgoblin pub when he was assaulted by two men.
He suffered serious injuries to his head which required hospital treatment.
Det Con Mike West said: “There were several people outside the pub who witnessed the assault and helped the victim afterwards and I would appeal for them to come forward and speak with us about the incident.
“This was a nasty attack and we want to ensure that whoever was responsible is caught as soon as possible.”
