Oxford United stretched their unbeaten league record to 12 games as they saw off bottom club Carlisle United 2-1 at the Kassam Stadium.
Scorer: RobinsonAlthough seldom at their best, the U's were still by far the better team as they condemned Paul Simpson's apparently doomed Cumbrians to a 14th straight league defeat.
Carlisle produced a spirited response in the second half, but first-half goals from Matt Robinson and Andy Crosby, from the penalty spot, had put Oxford in control.
