Rail passengers are being advised to check timetables before travelling over the Christmas period.
Chiltern Railways, which runs services between Birmingham and Marylebone via Banbury, Bicester and Haddenham & Thame Parkway will finish early on Christmas Eve.
The last train from Birmingham will leave at 7.06pm and will stop at High Wycombe.
The last train from London to Bicester and Banbury will leave at 7.18pm.
There will be no services on Christmas Day or Boxing Day, and normal weekend services on December 27 and 28. A Saturday service will run on December 29 and 30, and extra trains will be laid on to get New Year revellers home from celebrations in the capital.
