A farmer is branching out to open his own shop -- just in time for Christmas.
Mr Holloway
David Holloway is raising 250 traditional farm fresh turkeys for Christmas, which will all be plucked by hand and sold in his new shop at Callows Farm, Stonesfield, near Witney.
He also stocks a full range of local produce, including pork and lamb raised on the farm and eggs from the farm's flock of free range hens.
Mr Holloway, 34, said: "My family have been farming in the village for four generations.
"At one time this farm would have supported two families, but those days have gone. I have had to diversify."
The shop is open Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 5pm.
