Two 15-year-old girls narrowly escaped being abducted in Oxford on December 2, police have revealed.
A man tried to drag the two into a red car as they walked home from school along Sandy Lane West, Littlemore, at about 3.15pm.
The girls managed to escape and were not injured, but were left shocked and upset.
A 33-year-old man from Oxford was later arrested and released on police bail until December 10.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.
