A crash involving a lorry and a car closed one lane of the A34 near Abingdon at 11.45pm on December 5.
One person trapped in a vehicle was freed by firefighters and taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, after the two vehicles crashed down an embankment.
The accident, on the northbound carriageway, happened between the Milton and Marcham interchanges.
