Special measures have been taken at a village school to encourage young children to get on their bikes.
New bicycle racks and designated cycle paths in and around the entrance to Stonesfield Primary School are part of the campaign.
Proficiency lessons prove popular
A comprehensive course of cycling proficiency ensures the pupils are aware of safety first.

Headteacher Ed Read said: "We start the emphasis on road safety in the infant classes where we run the Footsteps Programme.
"By the time they reach Year 5 and 6 they are encouraged to come to school on their bicycles," said Mr Read.
"We now have in place not only the physical means of ensuring that they come to school as safely as possible, but a safety awareness programme run by enthusiastic volunteers."
