Songsters across the county are being asked to sing out and give the gift of life to children this Christmas.
Cancer Research UK has launched a Cash for Carols Campaign to coincide with December's Children's Cancer Awareness month, and raise money for its research.
The charity spends £3m a year working to find cures and treatments for children's cancers, and Oxford is its largest research base outside London.
It is urging schools, churches and choral groups to organise a festive fundraising event to continue its scientists' studies.
