Quakers are holding a peace vigil in Wallingford on December 7.
Sam Settle, of Wallingford Quakers, said: "The vigil is for peace in general and to press for a peaceful solution to the situation with Iraq." "It is open to anyone who believes in alternatives to the violent ways that governments tend to go about things."
The Quakers, from the Friends' Meeting House in Castle Street, will have their own Christmas tree and candles in Market Place between 10.30am-11.30am.
