A rowing team from an Oxford-based charity cruised the length of four of the UK's longest lakes without seeing a drop of water.
The team of four, from child bereavement group Seesaw set up a rowing machine in the Westgate Centre, Oxford.
Six hours, 29 minutes and 12.2 seconds later, they had rowed 87.4km, equal to the lengths of Lake Windermere, Loch Lomond, Lake Bala and Lock Neagh -- the longest lakes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland respectively.
Manon Bradley, Seesaw's head of fundraising, said they raised more than £1,000 for the charity, which helps under-18s after they have lost a family member.
