Visitors to Foxbury Farm in Brize Norton will be able to watch hundreds of sheep being shorn at an open day on Sunday, June 9.

Contractors will be shearing the sheep, taking less than two minutes for each one.

Other attractions at the open day include farm animals such as this year's lambs, cows, chickens, rabbits and goats.

Rural crafts will be on display, as well as a children's fun fair and steam engines.

Farmer Colin Dawes said: "Previous events at the farm have raised thousands of pounds for local charities so we hope hundreds of people will come and visit us." The charity farm open day will start at 10am. There are still a few spaces left for trade or craft stands.
