Tony Oliver starred for Great Tew 2nd, scoring an unbeaten 131 as the team ran up 234-4, despite a creditable and economical 16 overs from Cumnor 2nd's young left-arm spinner Ben Cook.

Despite a half-century from Tim McDonald, Cumnor's last pair had to hold out for several nail-biting overs as Phil Slater, with best-ever figures of 8-75, tried unsuccessfully to winkle them out.

John Mackie's 85 figured large in Tiddington 2nd's 178-9 but this proved to be insufficient against Bletchingdon.

The visitors overtook the score for the loss of six wickets and finished the match with a hefty six into foot-and-mouth country. Young Jack Brooks bowled patiently throughout with his seamers and was duly rewarded with 5-76.
