The Roke and Benson Brass Band celebrated the progress of its new £100,000 rehearsal hall by playing a few numbers in the construction site.
The new roof is due to go up within weeks, and the band is hoping to have its first session inside in August.
Another £7,000 is still needed for internal decorations and finishing touches.
