A Dutch lorry driver reported the theft of about 100 tyres from his vehicle while he was parked in a lay-by on the A34.
The driver was sleeping in a northbound lay-by between Oxford and Bicester when the incident happened overnight on Wednesday. Another lorry driver, parked on the other side of the dual carriageway, also reported his lorry had been attacked on the same night. He was carrying a load of flour, but nothing was stolen.
