Irish dancers persuaded senior citizens to take to the dance floor at a party hosted by the Carterton Lions' Club.
The Doyle Academy Irish Dance school, based in Oxford, entertained 97 senior citizens from Carterton, Burford and surrounding villages at the annual Lions' Club party.
Folk entertainer Mary Ross and her sisters from Kidlington also sang and told stories.
Members from the Carterton Lions' Club provided a tea with cakes and sandwiches.
Vice-president of the Carterton Lions' Club Bernie Wellstood said: "We have had people come up to us in the street and thank us for a good afternoon out."
