While most youngsters were playing with their presents on Christmas morning, 12-year-old James Leverton spent it jogging the streets of Carterton.
James, of Netheravon Close, Carterton, went on a sponsored run in memory of his sister, Deidre Leverton, who died of ovarian cancer at the age of 38.
James raised £112.75 for the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. He presented the money to Nicola Hunter, the area fundraising manager.
