A public meeting is being held to discuss proposals to build a new primary school in north Oxford.
There are plans by the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education and the county council to build a new SS Philip and James Primary School in Aristotle Lane.
A 14-class primary school and nursery class would replace the present school building in Leckford Road, which is on a cramped site with very little outdoor play space.
The proposal to enlarge the school is part of the reorganisation of schools in Oxford city, which is switching from a three-tier to a two-tier education system.
The county council's planning sub-committee will consider the application in June and wants to hear people's views.
The meeting will take place at 7pm on Monday, April 30, at Oxford Town Hall.
