A meeting to discuss the future of the Oxford Prison and Castle site has been brought forward.

Plans for a 74-bedroom hotel, museum, restaurants, shops and leisure centre, have now been submitted to the city council by developer The Osborne group and the county council.

City councillors want the public to be properly consulted, and a public meeting provisionally scheduled for May 9 has been brought forward to May 2. It will take place at Oxford Town Hall at 7.30pm.
