A post woman was knocked off her bicycle in an accident in Borough Avenue yesterday morning.
Della Shears, of East Hagbourne, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, suffering from slight head and hip injuries. Mrs Shears is a casual worker from Wallingford delivery office. A spokesman said Mrs Shears, from East Hagbourne, was treated by passers-by at the scene of the accident in Borough Avenue until an ambulance arrived.
