The Easter Bunny, in the shape of chocolate-crazy entrepreneur John Partington, has hidden 100 Easter eggs around Oxford city centre.
Lucky finders in the great Easter egg hunt, scheduled for tomorrow, should take them to his Chocology shop, in Oxford's Covered Market, or to the George and Davis ice-cream shop in Little Clarendon Street, to claim two rewards.
Mr Partington, who describes himself as owner, manager and shelf-stacker, acquired his retailing skills as a graduate store manager with supermarket chain Sainsbury.
He hatched the idea for Chocology while on holiday in Italy, where he visited a shop with a rich selection of chocolate. He thought the idea would work a treat in England.
The reward that awaits happy hunters at the Chocology shop is a Neuhaus egg that has been specially made to order.
And the prize from co-conspirators George Stroup and Fraser Lloyd, of George and Davis, is a free scoop of their home-made ice-cream.
One lucky finder will win a de-luxe egg from Chocology and a month's supply of ice- cream from George and Davis.
