People seeking legal advice will now be able to access information easily thanks to a new directory that lists legal services offered in Oxford.
Julie Higgs, social inclusion officer at Oxford City Council, said: "Although there are a variety of different organisations around the city offering legal help, people are often confused about which one is most suitable for their needs.
"This directory will help people get appropriate help, such as translation and interpreting services, as quickly as possible."
Languages spoken by solicitors' staff are also listed in the directory, which will be available later in the year at advice agencies, community centres and libraries throughout the city.
The directory was officially launched by the Lord Mayor Maureen Christian at Oxford Brookes University research centre.
