Daredevil bungee jumpers will plunge 180ft through the air at the Oxford Balloon Fiesta this year in aid of charity.
The two-day sponsored event on May 12 and 13 at Cutteslowe Park will raise money for the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust.
It is open to anyone over 14 and there are funding incentives for participants who raise more than a certain amount of sponsorship.
Bone marrow transplants are the only way to save thousands children and adults with leukaemia and other bone marrow diseases.
Anna Spencer, area manager of the trust, said: "The money that is raised from this may well help to save the life of a patient in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant, living in Oxfordshire."
