More than 300 bikers brought a taste of America to a village pub, after rolling up on gleaming Harley Davidsons.
The motorbikes - perhaps more suited to Route 66, than the A34 - turned villagers' heads after descending on Blewbury, near Didcot. Riders from as far away as Dorset rode to the Load of Mischief pub in the village yesterday for their annual rally.
The motorcycle enthusiasts, all members of the Harley Owner Groups (Hogs) compared notes on the chrome-plated classic American machines, and treated staff at the pub to rides around the village.
Landlord Tony Vaks said: "It was a brilliant day. The riders were a terrific group of guys and their bikes were superb. It was a spectacular sight.
"I had never been on a motorbike in my life before, but after sitting on the back of a Harley I have decided I want one."
