A fine all-round performance gave Headington a deserved Division 1 West double over Purton on Saturday.
Matthew Phillips opened the scoring after 16 minutes from Drewitt's free kick, and six minutes later, centre back Darren Varley scored from close range following a corner.
After containing Purton's early second-half challenge, Headington secured the three points when Ben Baldwin ran on to Barrett's clever back-heel and finished from an acute angle, and Phillips scored his second.
