Letcombe went down at Bishop's Cleeve on a boggy pitch which was barely playable, but the scoreline was not a fair reflection of the match.
After 15 minutes, a Steve Burry header from a corner was cleared off the line and Kevin Slack broke away to fire home an unstoppable drive from the edge of the box.
David Rees had a great chance to equalise early in the second half and Mark Rees hit the bar, but Bishop's netted twice more with Slack getting one, and setting up the other for Bloomfield.
