Aerobics instructor Angie Jenkins has succeeded in finding herself a challenge with a difference.
She plans to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania next February to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust
To boost her fundraising, the motherof two, of St John's Road, Wallingford, is also giving aerobics classes at the town's Castle leisure centre without charging for her time, so all fees go to the charity, which operates the world's largest register of potential bone marrow donors and has laboratories at London's Royal Free Hospital. Her slogan is Get Fit and Save a Life.
Mrs Jenkins, 35, who works as a business analyst for Alpha-Numeric Developments in Nuneham Courtenay, will join a 25-strong team - including Kerry Jones, 35, of Reading Road, Cholsey - who have each pledged to raise at least £2,750 in sponsorship. Her charity aerobics classes will be held at the Castle leisure centre, in St George's Road, on Mondays at 7pm.
