MALCOLM Shotton has issued a 'no let-up' plea to his Oxford United players for their Division 1 game at Bradford tomorrow.

The U's have registered three wins out of four since Shotton was appointed and the new boss looks set to name an unchanged line-up following Tuesday's exciting 2-1 win over West Brom.

"We're looking to win every game, whether it be home or away, and as long as we can get enough wins to remain in this division, that's all that matters," Shotton said.

"Winning's a great habit to get into. We want to keep it going."

Defender Phil Gilchrist, scorer of the opening goal against West Brom, believes the sooner United can get enough points to make them safe, the sooner they will be able to play more relaxed football - but still with the intensity and workrate which has quickly become Shotton's trademark.

"We're still looking at the table because it's still easy to get dragged down there," said Gilchrist. "I'd hate to see the table if we hadn't got those three wins out of four.

"The players have been bubbling for a while now. And if we can pick up four or five wins out of six, that should see us well clear."

Gilchrist, who scored his first goal of the season in midweek, said: "It was about time I scored. My goals usually come in twos, so I'm looking to get another at Bradford.

"If you can get the points earlier rather than later in the campaign it helps a lot - because you can then go into

the last few games without the same pressure.

"I know from my time at Har-tlepool that when you're down there in the bottom two or three, it's that much more difficult to get those wins and catch up with the rest."

Tuesday night's victory brought United their first double of the season. When they met Bradford at the Manor it was goalless.

Matt Murphy and Christophe Remy are added to the 14 who were involved in midweek.

Central midfielders Craig Ramage and Nigel Pepper return to the Bradford squad after two-game bans and Pepper could take over from Andy O'Brien.

Former United skipper Andrew Melville, on loan from Sunderland, makes his home debut for City whose front three of Peter Beagrie, Nathan Blake and Edinho are among the liveliest in the division. John McGinlay can't even get in the team.
