Burgeoning talent Melissa Hawtin added yet another prestigious title to her ever-growing haul as she won the gold medal at the Cardiff Cross Challenge.
Running in the under 13 girls' category over a tough 3km course, Hawtin extended her unbeaten record with an impressive display of front-running, finishing more than 40m clear of a chasing pack from the East Midlands.
Hawtin crossed the line in 11mins 12secs and received her gold medal from Britain's 1964 long jump Olympic gold medallist Lyn Davies.
Her Oxford City teammates put in good performances, with both Danielle Anderson and Amy Chivers finishing inside the top ten.
Anderson crossed the line in eighth place in 12.02, with Chivers just six seconds further back in ninth.
