A REMARKABLE spell of 5-15 in 15 overs by Sanjay Vinjimoor was not quite enough to bring Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts victory at home to Sandford St Martin.

Sandford rescued a draw at 165-9, after failing to build on the start provided by Chas Taylor (42). Jim Howe (52no) was left to marshal the tail.

Earlier, Will Cooper (67) top scored in Nondies' 256-5.

An opening partnership of 126 between Dave Burgess (46) and Rob Lovick, who went on to complete his century, set up Hanborough's 62-run win over Cumnor 2nd.

The home side's 236-7 looked within Cumnor's grasp, but then leg-spinner Matthew Busby entered the attack and took 4-30 to send the visitors to 174 all out.
