Sir, Oxford City Primary Care Trust's proposal to concentrate the primary health care facilities for the central area of the city (including five or more general practice surgeries) on to one single site a the Radcliffe Infirmary has now received three resounding rejections from the elected representatives of the patients and residents who would be affected.

It is surely now time for the trust to cease wasting our public money by pursuing this option, graphically described at the strategic development control committee as a 'dead parrot', and to seek a more dispersed and accessible pattern for the improved facilities which we all want to see.
