AN industrial extraction unit was destroyed when fire broke out at a Cowley factory.
Fire crews were called to UYS Limited in Garsington Road, behind Unipart, at 7.43pm on Thursday.
All staff were evacuated and no was injured.
The blaze began following a electrical defect inside the extration unit, and triggered a fire alarm in the factory.
No one was injured and all staff were evacuated.
The company produces car parts, in particular exhaust systems. No one from the company was willing to comment.
