Cloudy but dry afternoon at Cuttleslow Park. A very even first match. Morgan Carter shot Grove into the lead but George Gompertz equalised for Summertown. There were chances at both ends thereafter, with good attacking moves by David Gregory for the visitors and Alexander Jacobs for the hosts, but the tie remained at 1-1. In the second match, after a tense start, the Cobras midfielders got their passing game going, which led to some lovely assists by Rodolfo Niels, a hattrick by Felix Foot and further goals from Hamish Harrison-Cushing and Phillip Barnett. Credit to the Grove goalkeeper who made some brave saves. Final score: Summertown Cobras v Grove Challengers 6-1
