Police today issued an e-fit of a man they want to speak to in connection with a sexual assault in Bicester.

At about 8.45pm on Saturday, a woman in her twenties, was attacked in the car park of Bicester Community Hospital, in Kings End.

The offender was white, in his mid twenties to early thirties, between 5ft 10in and 6ft tall and of heavy build.

He had stubble, smelt of alcohol and was wearing a dark brown hat, black jeans and spoke with an English accent.

Det Insp Kev Elkins said: "The woman managed to fight off her attacker and he made off in the direction of the cemetery.

"I appeal to anyone who was in this area of Bicester, and saw a man matching this description acting suspiciously, to contact police immediately.

“The woman believes the offender was disturbed by a vehicle leaving a neighbouring car park so we would like to hear from anyone leaving the Cottage hospital or neighbouring properties at that time.

"This type of incident is extremely rare in Bicester but I would like to remind women to take extra care if walking alone at night."

If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact Det Insp Elkins via the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 0845 8 505 505, quoting URN 1032 of 30/11/10.
