HOW dare Keith Mitchell make the comments suggesting that those of us who voted to keep a library service do not care about the elderly or about vulnerable children (Oxford Mail, May 28).
Presumably, this is the way his own mind works.
If he knows so much about how we think, then he will know that many of us care very much about the way the local authority has wasted a great deal of money over recent years. I wonder if Mr Mitchell ever suggested that one of the jolly outings that he and others have had at our expense should be cancelled, and the money given to one of the projects for the elderly, or vulnerable children?
What an arrogant man!
