A TEENAGER was robbed at knifepoint by four men who snatched cash from his wallet in East Oxford.
The 16-year-old was walking along Circus Street at about 7pm on Saturday when he was confronted by the four men, police said yesterday.
The gang, who were all armed with knives, blocked his path and then demanded his wallet, before emptying it of money and escaping towards Iffley Road.
One robber is described as white, of a medium build, 5ft 10ins tall, unshaven, with short, dark hair. He was wearing a smart grey, knee-length jacket. The other men are described as white and aged in their late teens or early 20s.
Det Con Tom Mansfield said: “The boy was left shaken by the robbery, but was thankfully unharmed in the incident.
“We are keen to trace anyone who may have seen these men either before the robbery or afterwards as they fled the scene.”
Anyone with information should contact Dc Mansfield on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
