A FLASHER has been targeting women in Summertown in Oxford.

The man struck more than two weeks ago, but police have not released any details until today.

The first incident took place on Friday, October 28 when a woman aged 44 was walking along Banbury Road, near Linton Road, when a man called out “Hey lady”.

When the woman looked over, the man had his trousers down and was touching himself inappropriately.

The woman saw the man exposing himself on two further occasions on Wednesday, November 2 and on Monday in Banbury Road, near Bardwell Road.

Another woman, aged 56, was targeted on Friday, November 4 in Woodstock Road, when the offender made a slapping noise to get her attention.

All the incidents took place between 6am and 6.30am, and in all the incidents the man had his trousers down and was touching himself inappropriately.

Victims have described the offender as a white man, in his late twenties to early forties, of stocky build, 6ft, and he was wearing a dark blue hooded top with the hood up.

Pc Becky Brown, of Thames Valley Police, said: “I would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time of the offences who may have seen the offences take place or the offender leaving the scene “I am also keen to hear from any other victims who have not come forward yet.

“This man could still be out there so if you happen to see him please contact the police.”
