Four pupils at the Cherwell School have raised £1,760 towards a library in South East Asia.
Fundraising activities included a special event at the Treasures of the Bodleian exhibition and they hope to eventually raise £3,500.
Their fundraising efforts won them a national competition, the Go Global challenge, run by The Schools Network. Their prize is a visit from The Apprentice finalist Claire Young.
