BANBURY: A rogue trader tried to con a 92-year-old man out of more money than agreed for guttering work.
The incident happened at about 3.50pm on Tuesday in Horton View and the trader, who knocked unannounced on the victim’s door, left after the pensioner threatened to call the police.
The man is described as white, in his 40s, with short dark hair, wearing a dark chequered shirt and a dark jacket.
Police released details of the incident yesterday.
