OXFORD: A gang of three attacked a man while burgling a house in Blackbird Leys, snatching sunglasses, cash and an Xbox computer game console.
Two 14-year-old boys have been arrested and bailed after the home in Blay Close was raided at about 8pm on Thursday.
A 19-year-old man opened the door to the gang of burglars, who demanded money and pinned him to the floor, leaving him with minor head injuries.
A 42-year-old woman in the house then disturbed the gang, who fled in the direction of Moorbank and Blackbird Leys Road.
The offenders were described as black and all wore black clothes and hooded tops.
Det Con Ben Yeats said: “We are keen to trace these three as soon as possible. Someone in the area will know who they are.”
“People in the community should not be overly alarmed, officers are working to catch the people responsible.”
