TWO teenage boys have been arrested after a 62-year-old man was stabbed in the chest in his Oxford home.
Police arrested two people on suspicion of causing GBH following the incident in Valentia Road shortly after 5.30pm yesterday.
A 17-year-old boy is currently in custody and a 14-year-old boy is receiving hospital treatment for a head injury.
Police say the elderly victim is in the John Radcliffe Hospital and his injuries are non-life threatening.
Det Ch Insp Paul Hayles said it was believed the man was injured in an incident connected to an earlier dispute.
He added: “We have spoken to a number of witnesses but I would urge anyone with any further information about this incident to contact police.”
