ON Sunday, November 6, a charity band concert for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal was organised by the Legion’s Witney branch and the Gateway Lodge of Freemasons, raising the sum of £1,300.
The music was provided by Witney Town Band. We would like to thank those who attended and the generosity of shops and the Oxford Bus Company and Oxford Playhouse for their raffle and auction prizes.
Also, the Gateway Lodge at Witney has donated £300 to the Repatriation Memorial Bell Fund.
