The RAF Falcon display team dropped into meet pupils at an Oxfordshire school as they got their season off to a flying start.
The team, who will be wowing crowds at air shows and other events around the country, performed a showcase performance for Henry Box School in Witney on Friday.
And their dramatic entrance certainly made an impression.
Sgt Jon Parkhurst, a member of the RAF Falcons display team said: “It was touch and go with the weather. It’s lovely when you get a good reception, it makes it all worthwhile.
Henry Box School headteacher Nicola Edmondson said: “The pupils absolutely loved it.
“It was a really spectacular display and the rain stayed off until they landed.
“We took all the Year Seven students and they enjoyed it all tremendously.
“A lot of them wanted to get things signed by the guys that had jumped.”
