IT was nice to read of Carol Vorderman making a call to people to donate money for a memorial to 55,573 forgotten RAF heroes.
But let’s be fair, if these same airmen could possibly know how this once-great nation has been devastated by stupid politicians and without one bullet being fired, they would be thinking (and rightly so): was it worth it?
I am getting on now and I’ve seen the best of Britain in my lifetime. Britain is slowly being taken over by the factions and I fear it will be a country of doom and gloom.
Shame, really, that politicians can’t see a once-great nation going down the pan.
On behalf of all those who lost their lives in the war, I think I would be right in saying sorry to them from every full-blooded Briton in the country: we have let you down badly.
