THEY may not have the voices of angels yet but they are on the right track.
New College Choir held an open day to invite young boys to find out more about what life is like for choristers.
Three brothers, Oscar, Felix and Theo Ross, aged eight, 10 and 12, who are already members of the choir, performed a song to welcome visitors. Between 25 to 30 families attended the event in Holywell Street.
Chapel administrator Nancy-Jane Rucker said: “It was fantastic, we had many more people than we were expecting and everyone seemed very interested.”
Choristers of the future joined the choir to sing together on Saturday, and dressed up in chorister garb to experience life behind the scenes at the prestigious choir.
Ms Rucker said: “It’s open to any boy that has musical potential. You don’t have to be good when you arrive, we take boys with potential.”
